Dr. Manda saved my life when I had a heart attack. He is kind and he listens to you. His staff is great too. I would recommend him to be your doctor too.

It appears that most everyone had a good experience except for me. I had my first (and last) visit recently and I really felt as if majority of the staff sincerely hated their job and me for daring to be there. I should have just walked out then, but I wanted to give the doctor a chance. That was my second mistake. I felt as though he was passing a lot of incorrect judgment on me on our first meeting. He also contradicted the meds prescribed by my PCP. AND I was accused of being a chain smoker because I was honest enough to tell him I am a smoker. The whole visit was a nightmare for me and he kept mentioning my defib and I told him 3 times I don't have a defib. I guess he was too busy judging me to hear what I was saying. So, yeah, I'm glad for the ones who had a good experience but I had a visit from h3ll and I'm definitely not going back.

If you need a cardiologist in Lufkin, choose Dr. Manda! My husband has been under his care for the past 2 years. He is always so professional and kind. He is one of the few doctors that actually takes the time out to answer every question or concern. He's very knowledgeable and skilled at what he does and he has excellent bedside manners. It's really hard to find a doctor that has both! He takes great care of his patients.
