Originally trained in Guatemala, he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr Solis began his career in private practice in Lufkin, Texas, before joining Cardiologists of Lubbock in 2000, where he has provided comprehensive cardiac care for 24 years.

Doctor Solis found that my heart was stopped up. I had a triple bypass and was in great danger of death. Quickly a surgeon operated on me! Twenty plus years later Dr. Solis would give me stints and later with more stints! I have life only because of Dr. Solis, surgeon, and God. Nothing but kindness from Lubbock Heart Hospital!
After a routine evaluation indicated the possibility of a blockage, my cardiologist, Dr. Roberto E. Solis scheduled an angiogram to determine whether or not I needed a stent. I checked into the Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital, had the angiogram, and was dismissed the next day. Hospital care was excellent. Fortunately, a stent was not necessary, and I experienced no discomfort from the procedure. Because Dr.Solis is an excellent cardiologist who is interested in the well being of his patients, I have the assurance that my heart is functioning normally. Of course, Dr Solis will continue routine checkups. I highly recommend Dr. Solis and the Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital.
Horrible service, I called multiple times to make an appointment. They would answer the phone just to hang up the call. Multiple times I could hear that they answered the call and immediately hung up before saying anything.
Expert care, Dr. always answers questions and doesn't rush, courteous front desk staff, excellent nurses and lab staff. Would definitely recommend.
