Dr. James G. Grattan, MD

Dr. Grattan has a very competent manner. Professional and approachable. Responds to questions.

Beware of this guy. He told me I had an enlarged heart when I didn't. I feel I should have gotten a second opinion when I let him do a 2nd. Bypass on me. The rumor about him he want to get very wealthy befor retirement. Beware!

Never used his medical services, but I can comment on his character. This individual could not understand that he was viewing an email with a special offer that expired, he was so hell bent on getting the sale price that he had missed out on, his solution was to claim fraud and throw a bit of a childish fit.

I was forgotten in closed door exam room for 3 hours. No one came to check on me or see why door was closed. Thirsty and walls closing in, I finally opended the door near closing time and went to a nice lady setting at a computer and asked why have I had to wait 3 hours. She did not know and said she would check. Apparently my chart was paperclipped to someone else's and was filed away for processing. While mistakes happen, why did neither staff nor doctor inquire to the afternoon roster of patients and say, hey I don't recall seeing that person or hey they are still in exam room? Doctor apologized and while I consider him a good doctor, staff forgetting a patient in an exam room is wrong. My lesson learned, I won't wait longer than an hour at any doctor visit again without inquiry as to the delay.

Patient since 2018. Dr Gratten has done 3 stents in that time. Staff is great. Trust this dr 100%!
