We arrived at the clinic and Waited for over an Hour while lobby was empty. From the moment me and my Son Arrived, the Dr. and Assistant had an Attitude and seemed very smirky. My son came to see him for a Referral due to Sinus Bradycardia and low heart palpitations. The Dr. Completed ignored our concerns and generalized us 'Those type of People' who eat spicy foods and make a lot of Hot Tomales. That was an Uncalled for Racial remark and Very Unprofessional. I did not appreciate being ignored and the Attitude he gave my son. Why be a Specialist in this field for Pediatrics and have little to no concern for your Patients and their real well being. Both were real Jerks.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Athos and his team. The care they provided to my daughter was exceptional. During our single visit, the doctor conducted a thorough examination, performed an echocardiogram, and provided us with the results. The staff were punctual and attentive, checking in with us regularly to ensure we had no questions or concerns.

My 11 year old son was referred to see Dr. Athos Colon in September of 2024. It took two months to get in as a new patient, and on the day of our appointment, we spent more than an hour and a half waiting to be seen (we had the first appointment right after their lunch closure, and they didn't even open the doors on time). Dr. Colon was unprofessional throughout our appointment, constantly wiping his nose with his hand, and he even took a personal phone call in the middle of our discussion. Rather than ordering a stress test, a heart monitor, or any other diagnostic assessment, he agreed that his ADHD medicine was the likely culprit behind my son's heart issues and simply suggested adding more medicine to the three pills a day my son already took. We decided to take my son off his ADHD medicine instead, and we will be going to see another cardiologist in the future.

Dr. Colon and his staff are amazing. Dr. Colon is very thorough with his examination and has been successfully diagnosing and treating my heart condition for decades. He is also wonderful at explaining my medical condition so that I understand my heart defect completely. Having congenital heart defects since I was an infant, I'm so blessed that Dr. Colin took me on as a patient many years ago. Overall, I just adore Dr Colon and his staff.
