Please do not waste your time or money with this doctor or his staff. We were referred to Dr. Lisardo Garcia by my dads primary cardiologist for a bypass heart surgery. The appointment was rushed. He did not explain the procedure. He did not look over my dad's information for simple things such as his age, his history and the tests that they ran for the surgery. He was quick to schedule the surgery and that was all he was concerned abt. He even made sure we could schedule him the soonest his insurance will allow. When he asked me if I had any questions he looked annoyed when I asked him about the test results and medications my Dad was taking. After we left the appointment, we ran into him while getting off of the elevator, and he didn't even recognize us, as if he didn't just meet us a couple minutes ago. He is arrogant and his staff is very unprofessional. We requested that my dad's care be transferred to longview regional and it took us almost a week and a half for them to transfer his information. I did my research on this doctor and if you look, you will find he has some pretty bad reviews on yelp and he used to work in Miami Florida. Although we went through so much trouble and it took longer, I am glad that we decided to change surgeon. To anyone who is feeling the same way, please save yourself the trouble and choose a different surgeon. I recommend Dr. David Jayakar at longview regional
