The Mekala Team at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Heart & Vascular Institute are amazing! Specifically Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Williams! So knowledgeable about so many things. She's going to make sure you're taken care of! I believe I'm in good hands when I'm with her! 10/10! I highly recommend her for your cardiovascular health.

I just had the WORST experience. I went in today on a referral for lepedema in my legs. After having an ultrasound done they referd me to see a cardiologist. I spent more time with the Medical Assistant then I did with the Dr. He came in asked why I was here. Didn't even ask to look at my leg asked a few more questions that were already asked by the MA and said they ordered the wrong ultrasound and to come back in 3 months. I feel like I waisted my time and got no answer about my legs. He couldn't even say my name right after correcting him 4x.

Parking garage is awesome. Receptionist ALWAYS PROMT and kind. Wait time is minimal. DR. BOYLAND Listens and has an exceptional mannerism. Thorough, to the point and in and out in a very timely 'at ease' manner. I am thankful to KNOW I am in good hands.

The heart doctors and nurses are good however the billing and/or office is incompetent. I am on Medicare and United Healthcare and as such only pay my co-pay of $35. The billing decided to send the bill to me instead of my insurance. GSMC is getting worse by the day. Avoid if at all possible.

Won't got back after the way I was treated. The doctors rush you and don't listen to your concerns. Once they figured out what I had they refused to see me anymore because it wasn't heart related even though it had to do with my heart rate. Tried to get my records called and left a voicemail 3 weeks ago and have yet to get a call back. Would never recommend anyone going here.
