This was our family PCP for 15 years. They recently went corporate to MyCare. Now for a sick appointment their options are to either wait 3 weeks, or go to the ER. they will literally recommend you go to the ER for a cold or ear infection if you don't want to wait. Just another local business who sold out to a corporation.
I've used this provider on and off for many years and I've finally decided I'm not going back. I've seen an actual physician one time in the last ten years of being a patient here. The appointments are always made with a Physicians Assistant and rarely last longer than five minutes. Jacinto Medical Group actually shut down during the Covid pandemic. Doctors are supposed to treat sick people. Apparently, Jacinto Medical Group disagrees. What happened to the hippocratic oath? My son has a patient history with the clinic as well. He hasn't been sick for a couple of years and needed to visit the clinic, so they reclassify him as a "new patient" and refuse to book an appointment. They are more worried about turning and burning patients than providing actual health care. I'm permanently severing my relationship with this group and will not be recommending them moving forward.
This was my favorite doctors office for years. The new ownership group is laying off the good doctors, PAs, and nurses and keeping the PA that is horrible. I am switching to Dr Kirkwood immediately. It is a shame what the new ownership group has done to this office.
Called oct 3 and the soonest appointment I can set up is until December. What a joke, don't waste your time.
I have been a patient of Dr. Johnston and Jacinto Medical Group since 2000 and absolutely love him and his team. He is very compassionate and knowledgeable and greets me like I am a family member. He takes the time to know you and your medical condition and will not stop until you are given the best treatment possible. I have also seen Susie and Erin and they follow the same philosophy as he does. I cannot really point out any particular nurse or office member because they are all really amazing and caring. Thank y'all for being there for us!
