Taylor A. Smith, M.D., F.A.C.S., R.V.P.I., is a Louisiana native and received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. He completed his general surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas followed by a vascular and endovascular surgical fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Smith returned to Louisiana where he practiced 9 years before joining CTVS in 2019. He is board certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. His special interests include surgical and endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms, peripheral and cerebrovascular disease, endovascular treatment of DVT and treatment of infected aortic and peripheral grafts.

Well, to my surprise, went in to see Dr. Smith, and without using no equipment on my leg, he just put pressure on my right foot and said I had a good pulse. Blood was circulating normal and had no issues with circulation on my legs. Reported those news to my PCP and I guess my legs are ok..Dr. Smith was nice and gentle and kind.

Dr. Smith is a very friendly, professional and thorough doctor. He listened to my concerns and was not rushing like other doctors do to get you out of their offices.
