Modern Heart and Vascular | Cardiologist in Katy, TX

We came in at 12:30 for a 1 pm appointment, signed in on the clipboard and took a seat. The lady (Angela) who was working the registration desk was helping a gentleman as we came in. After that gentleman was finished we thought we would have been greeted or acknowledged as we were the only people sitting in the waiting area besides the gentleman she had helped. She had a full blown conversation with one of the technologists about someone walking up mad that works there and looked directly at us during this conversation. As others came in and signed in she greeted them and checked them in. After sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes we had to approach the desk and asked are we not going to be checked in. She blamed us not getting checked in on the lady that she was covering for lunch. I informed her no it has been you sitting here the whole entire time we have been here. Angela had marked all the names off the sign on clipboard around our names not one time even calling out to see if we were sitting there or if we had been helped. Angela is definitely not my first line that I would have greeting my patients, there was no friendly attitude, no warm welcome, it's like she could have cared less if any of us were in the building today. When you look me up I was not the patient today I was with a family member who was the patient.

I had a truly positive experience at Modern Heart and Vascular. Dr. Bellera was incredibly kind and attentive--he listened carefully, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. The staff was just as wonderful: helpful, respectful, and compassionate throughout my visit. Their level of care and professionalism made a lasting impression. I left feeling confident in the care I received and grateful to have found such a dedicated team. Highly recommend!

Everyone's so nice and friendly. Everything went well was not waiting very long in the waiting room are in the patient room would highly recommend doctors were very thorough.

Dr Paul and her staff are very professional, compassionate. Dr. took her time to explain to us in detail about my mom's disease and what precautions to take. This made a big difference in my mom's self assurance.

It was my first time at this location and was the most dismissive and heartless specialist I have ever had the displeasure to come across. I waited three months for an appointment with Dr.Pei and she did not even spend 10 minutes with me before sending me out the door. She did not ask me any questions about my family history, prior conditions, or lifestyle. She just utilized the stethoscope for 3 breaths, then said my heart was fine and sent me out the door. Utterly shameful experience.
