George Mammen, M.D., F.A.C.C.

My husband went to see Dr Mammen in August, he was told he needed the stress test. We called the insurance and we knew how much we had to pay, however the office quoted more money. We paid the amount the office quoted. In September of 2024 we knew he had a refund coming, and thats where the problem starts. We were told to contact Laura Ariana with billing. We have been working with her but still no refund. We were told it was approved in Dec 2024 and today again in Jan 2025. She referred us to her supervisor Jesley, her manager back in Sept. and Jesley told us the refund was approved since 12-10-2024. But still no refund. We have tried to contact Jesley again but she never answers the phone number she gave us either. We were told the problem was due to a change. We had 4 other doctor offices that we overpaid and we have received money back from all of them, except this one. Laura did call me today and said the check takes a week from the date it was approved which is Jan 15, 2025. My next step is to call our insurance for help to collect the money.

My dad has been going to Dr. Mammen since 1996. He has never managed my fathers heart failure correctly. This year we finally had enough. We switched doctors and my dad is in the best shape of his life!!! His new cardiologist made simple changes in his medication and gave proper education of the disease and management to my father. You need some continuing education or to just simply retire Dr. Mammen! You were killing my father slowly! Now he has a quality of life and can breath without thinking he is having an asthma attack! Run if you can!!

Absolutely The worst doctor, my 80 year old father has ever had. Impossible to communicate with him or his office. They do not care one iota about patient health. The doctor and staff are in it for the typical mighty dollar. Their negligence is part of the reason my dad is recovering so poorly. If he doesn't make it this Sorry excuse for a doctor will be top of my list to blame. Do you and your family a Favor and find a cardiologist, who has a "heart" for the lives of their patients. I'm disgusted. He's the epitome of what makes the American healthcare system so very flawed. These positive reviews most definitely have to be paid.

My husband is happy with him, but I have removed 1 start for his office staff. Called to set an appointment for myself. They got some of my information, put me on hold for 26 minutes before I gave up and searched for another cardiologist.

saved my husband's life and kept him alive for 18 years post-heart attack. can you say anything better about a doctor? bless this man.
