On October 13th, this facility charged me $650 for what my insurance advised should have been only $50. I also overheard them charging several patients upwards of $800 with the exact same reason given to me. Not competent enough to verify insurance at time of service is my best guess. On October 30th, I requested a refund of the $600 they should have never charged me. They then sent me a bill for $50 with no explanation and an incorrect insurance company that I've never had. I called on November 13th to check on the refund, and the rep advised it was never submitted and he submitted it that day, and advised of a 30-45 day waiting period. I've called multiple times since with no update, and suddenly today, Dec 11th, they tell me it is 30-45 business days. That would mean this company has chosen to incorrectly bill me, and then hang on to my $600 for potentially up to January 15th, when my appointment was on October 13th. 3 entire months. And I have strong doubts I would ever even be getting a refund if I hadn't checked my insurance portal and realized this $600 didn't go towards any deductible of mine, and called in to fight for myself to get reimbursed. This place feels incompetent at very best, and shady at worst. I'm guessing it's 95% elderly patients, and I can only imagine how many might get taken advantage of and never receive refunds they are owed. I would strongly suggest finding another provider for yourself or your loved ones.

Has got to be one of the worst doctor visits ever. Came in for a 2:45 appointment and after waiting for 1hr and 35 minutes, asked the staff if the doctor would see me. They got really agitated and suggested to schedule a telehealth appointment. At the front desk, the ladies said they no longer do telehealth appointments and whether I wanted to cancel this visit after I waited for 1hr 35mins(!) Finally the doctor saw me for like 90 seconds, ran through results, wrote a prescription and left. I understand the doctor's time is valuable, but so is mine. Don't come here unless you have to - they dont value your time or money. Hopefully they go bankrupt and lose their pitiful jobs.

Do NOT do business here!! Worst service I've experienced! We all know Doctors visit always run a little late. This place is to the extreme. They send you text telling you if you're late. They will cancel your appointment & will fine ( charge) you $$$ !! Every time I go for an appointment, An hour or more wait. My time is important also. At my latest appointment. 8am. Had me wanting.. Hour went by & no one bothered to say anything to me till I asked if they had forgotten about me. Finally someone comes out and tells me to go and come back in 45 minutes to an hour! What will I be compensated for my time??? Especially when it's a habit of Cardiology Center of Houston In wasting your time & just leaving you sitting there without explanation until you have to get angry !!!

I'm very fed up with this doctor's office. I have nothing against Dr. Suneja. I think he's wonderful and probably the best cardiologist in the Houston area. It's his staff and office. My last visit, I had an echocardiogram and the technician who did it was incredibly rude and very ill mannered. She had no compassion for the patients and expected me to do things without her asking me. She got mad at me for not having my arm up above my head. I told her I would gladly do it if you would just ask me to. I can't take directions through osmosis. I was so frustrated with her rudeness and unprofessionalism that as soon as my echocardiogram was over, I left and did not stay for the rest of my appointment. Sure they tried to stop me and called me to come back, but my frustration level with that tech had me at a boiling point. Then, last week, the doctors office called me and said they wanted me to come in for a follow up so I said ok and scheduled an 8:30 am appointment for today. I live in Katy and left my home at 7:40 am and traffic was horrible. I got to their office at 8:25 am and went in and signed up. About 20 minutes later, the lady at the front desk calls me up and I'm thinking it's for a copay. Nope. She proceeded to tell me that I didn't have an appointment and wasn't on the schedule. I'm, like, what are you talking about? Y'all are the ones who called me to set up the appointment. Then she says that she found me and that I had canceled my appointment. I told her I did no such thing. She says that I must have canceled when the system called me to confirm my appointment. I told her I never even received a call to confirm. Then she tells me that they can still see me, but I would have to sign in to their new system. I knew this was just doctor's office speak for "you'll be waiting, at least, another hour to be even called in. However, I still proceeded to attempt to sign in, but the system would not accept my sign in because it showed I had no appointment. At my wits end, I told her to forget about it because I couldn't handle it anymore. I'm standing there trying to get registered and I have very bad knees and cannot stand for long periods of time. I could feel my knees wanting to give out. So, I left, again, upset and frustrated. Also, a major issue I have with this office, and I've mentioned it to them time and time again, but they never do anything about it, is that I'm a person of size (like many Americans are today) and other that the sofas in the lobby, they don't have chairs that accommodate people of size. All their chairs are for skinny people. By the time the doctor finally sees me, I'm dying from the pain of standing or being forced to sit atop an examination table that's painful on your hips. If I can't go in there with my own wheelchair (which I don't own) or a scooter (which I also don't own) I won't have a place to sit comfortably to wait my hour to three hours to see the doctor. I can't take it anymore.
