Dr. Serauto was great, very caring and professional, she addressed all my concerns in great detail, it was easy to get an appointment. She was on top of my test results and have me move to the next step on a timely manner. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great cardiologist, Spanish speaking was a plus for me. BE AWARE!!! When visiting this physician at the MEDICAL PLAZA in Katy, TX you will be charged by Memmorial Hermann and the physician. MEMMORIAL HERMANN charges you $140 as a room charge to wait in the room for 15 minutes for the doctor to see you for 10 minutes this is ON TOP of your co-pay for a specialist visits. In addition, the office will run countless test WITHOUT an explanation of out of pocket cost. The Dr had a MEDICAL ASSISTANT perform an EKG for $450 in office . This is the same EKG the fire department will do for free at their station. The Dr. came in for 10 minutes , did not touch me or do an exam. She only read that the EKG was normal yet proceeds to order a battery of other tests to charge against my insurance. THERE WAS NO EXAM BUT I LEFT WITH A $600 bill. This is a medical plaza but MH charges as you are in the HOSPITAL. When I reached out to billing they refuse to reply via email or telephone as an explanation of charges. The representatives state its beeen escalated and hang up. Monica and Madeline are the reprsentatives. I have requested verbally and in writing for an itemized statement with ICD-10 codes and explanation of these charges. I have received NOTHING. Not even a reply back via email even though Monica stated the email had been received. At this point I am left to address this with the state medical board and my insurance company for Memmorial Herman and the Dr.s office for filing fraudulent medical claims. THERE IS NO PRIOR STATEMENT ON THE WEBSITE OR WHEN YOU CALL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT YOU WILL BE BILLED AS A HOSPITAL PATIENT WHEN YOU SEE A Dr. in the MEDICAL PLAZA. This type of fraudulent billing and harassment for payment without explanation is nonsensical, nonsympathetic, and nonprofessional
