Modern Heart and Vascular

I've been a patient at Modern Heart & Vascular in Humble for about 6 years under the care of Dr. Agarwal, and I can honestly say the level of care I've received has been exceptional. Dr. Agarwal has managed my high blood pressure with incredible attention, patience, and expertise over the years. This past week, I completed a series of preventive maintenance tests, and the entire experience was outstanding. The staff was professional, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. Everything was clearly explained, the process was smooth, and I left feeling confident and well cared for. I truly appreciate the quality of care I receive at Modern Heart & Vascular. Highly recommended!

My husband just graduated from the Cardiac Rehab program. His numbers etc improved so much from beginning to end. The sessions with the dietitian were so informative. We both came out of this program stronger and more knowledgeable. It was an all around learning experience for both of us. Highly recommended.

The ladies here are so nice very efficient and know there jobs good. That makes it pleasant to be there.Dr. Agarwal takes his time with me so I can understand what is going on with my heart. I will see them next year for my check up that is for sure.

I am very, very impressed with modern Heart! It is run like a business with a real focus on customer service. And the staff is first rate from the check-in desk, to the nurses and PA, to the imaging staff. Dr Agurwal is very good,, very thorough and offers cutting edge technologies right there at the office. One of the least pretentious and friendly docs I've ever had. I called on Monday for a cardiac checkup and treatment of high BP. I was scheduled for Friday at 815am.....that's unheard of. On Friday, Checked in and was immediately taken back. Nurses took vitals. PA took detailed history And performed an EKG. Dr Agurwal came in immediately after and ordered a Pet scan and other tests. The PET scan was sceduled for noon the same day!. This whole appt took maybe 25 minutes. I returned at noon, had the pet scan right at their office, and was out the door in 30 minutes. The techs were friendly and efficient to say the least. My follow-up visit will be in one week, where 2 other tests will be done. Btw, in my first visit a new prescription for BP meds was sent to cvs. I got a text from cvs before I left the appt that my Rx was ready. Picked them up on the way home. In summary, this practice is run so well that it needs presented in MBA schools as a model for the healthcare industry. One further note regarding DR Agurwal's expertise and the high level of technology offered by him: My brother was visiting me for a month and experienced a nagging chest pain. He went to Dr Agurwal and various tests were run. He was diagnosed as having blockages in the small arteries that surround and feed the heart blood . Not the big arteries that can be stented or bypassed. The small ones that branch off of the bigger ones. I think it was called micro cardial vascular disease. Dr Agurwal happened to have a machine that treats this condition. It actually stimulates the body to grow new arteries around the small ones that are plugged. He set my brother up on an accelerated treatment schedule that lasted about 4 weeks. My brother's angina is now gone and remains gone 18 months after this treatment. At the time I figured this therapy must be widely offered, so I googled providers of this therapy in the US. Incredibly, Dr Agurwals office is the only place I found online other than the famed Cleveland Clinic. I'm sure there must be others, but those were the only 2 providers listed 18 months ago.

Received excellent care. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nurse and doctor were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects. Very thorough and respectful. Would highly recommend their services.
