Dr Imtihan Jawdat MD

My daughter was seeing Dr. Jawdat for some health issues. In the beginning, we enjoyed working with him. However, when we met with him to go over the results of her tests, he essentially told us that she was fine, that she needed to start drinking alcohol and having sex, and that we as parents were the source of her stress and needed to back off and give her freedom. By the way, my daughter is 19 years old, not even the legal age for drinking. Dr. Jawdat crossed a major line when he went that route. Our religious beliefs clearly don't align with his, but his choice to mock our parenting style and religious beliefs was unprofessional and beyond reprehensible. We will never go to see him again, nor will we recommend him to anyone.

I have been going to Dr. Jawdat for about 7 years now. It took me about 6 months to find the right cardiologist. Several doctors just said I had a heart murmur and gave me a pat on the back and said I would be just fine. Dr. Jawdat sent me through all the proper test and determined that I have a bicuspid heart valve that leaks and has also caused an aneurism on my aortic artery. Obviously this is something that is serious and has to be monitored or repaired. In my case I am on heavy restrictions and had to make lifestyle changes for eating, lifting , controlling blood, cholesterol etc....Without these changes I don't think I would be here today. These situations can be difficult to deal with emotionally and can be very frustrating when trying to find the right prescribed treatments, however if I had a reaction to something, then Dr. Jawdat was quick to make changes until we found what would work. I highly recommend Dr. Jawdat and since I have been using him, my family members have made him their primary cardiologist as well. He has since performed life saving procedures for my family with excellent results. I could not be happier knowing that we are in the hands of one of the best in the industry.
