I love Dr. Isaac, although I have not seen him the last few times that I have been there; but the office staff is terrible. They will not return phone calls, I have gone 2 months now without my prescription, I saw the PA on 5/3/2024, a new script was sent to pharmacy and the pharmacy has contacted the office and of course are waiting on the office to approve the prescription. I was assured on 5/3/24 that they were on it. I have called twice and left voice mails for a return call, nothing. I have left messages on the nurse line, the PA's line even the prescription line back in April, never have had a phone call from them. Very disappointing. Looking for a new cardiologist, I do not want to because I have an extended medical history with them, it is hard to start over, but heart palpitations are not worth the stress.

Awesome doctors and staff. I had to wait an hour but realized after actually seeing the doctor that he took the time to go over all the results and talk about my health with me. I realized that some time had passed after my appointment was done with the doctor. This made me realize why I waited so long. To the many people here complaining about the front desk staff causing them to wait in the waiting room for extended time, use some common sense maybe? Your office visit time has nothing to do with the front desk staff. Sitting in the waiting room I heard the phones going off one after another, while checking in and out people. I believe the only problem is they need more staff to help.

My doctor seems very personable and knowledgeable. At least that's the impression I got from meeting one time for 5 minutes. However, time management seems very poor. I've grown accustomed to doctor's offices being backed up, but with the importance placed on cardiovascular health, an average 2 hours wait time seems excessive. Although this may not be the intended message, it seems the priority is quantity over quality. It shouldn't come down to the individual advocating for their health to finally get something done, but here we are.

Dealing with this practice has been one of the most stressful things I've had to do.
For starters I went in for my first appointment in late February/early March, paid my copayment, was seen by Dr. Hickey and went on with life for a follow up scheduled in 3 months. Show up for my second appointment and that's when my headache started, I check in and get told I have a copayment due of $97 when I'm set to pay $60 for specialist visits, then they see my name and quickly pull me to the side and said "someone was supposed to call you about this before your appointment but didn't since you're here, you actually owe $500" HMM WHAT? So they explain my insurance only covered a percentage of the heart monitor I wore for a few days and I'm responsible for the rest, I told them I could not pay that right there but that I needed my results so I asked if I could pay $150 and set a payment plan, the lady at the front said she was fairly new so she would ask her manager. Manager comes over and brigs out more papers just to tell me I actually owe them over $1,200 and that I had to pay in advance for an echocardiogram I was scheduled to have done that day. If I couldn't pay $500 on the spot what makes you think I can do $1,200? So I tell the manager again anyway I can do a payment arrangement? Said no a few times but after a while she said she would ask the doctor and find out if he would let me pay $150 that day and set the rest on a payment plan, as to which he agreed. That was embarrassing to say the least, as far as I know a doctor never gets involved with billing but okay. I asked them to give me copies of everything I was being charged for and got them, I looked over them thinking no way I owe $1200 after one appointment just to find out they are charging me and my insurance company twice for every single things they've done. First visit? Charged twice. Heart monitor? Charged twice. The list goes on. Before leaving I spoke to the supervisor about it and she told me to speak with the office manager, and gave me her info said shoot an email or call and that issue would be fix. Emails and countless calls later still no response. Now remember the payment plan? The first payment was due on 6/3 for $100. I got a call on 6/4 from a lady that said "the payment should've been ran yesterday but we didn't do it so we're doing it today". AGAIN HMM WHAT? You haven't responded to my dispute, I have yet to have a conversation with your office manager, yet you're charging me and not even on the day we agreed upon? This is FRAUD to me and my insurance company. The ladies at the front desk, and the nurse that have seen me were extremely helpful and empathetic with my stress but seriously management needs to be corrected or better yet replaced and so does that so called third party billing company. I NO LONGER CONSENT YOU GUYS PULLING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT, and if I need to go down there to discuss then by all means give me a call. I need to get response from this office manager. Additionally I have notified my insurance company on the discrepancy of charges being made to them and myself.

Dr. Isaac is wonderful, but he needs to know that his office staff has terrible communication. We waited two and a half hours for an appointment with no one checking up on us. When we finally got a room, Dr. Isaac's P.A. came in with zero bedside manner. She was unwelcoming and rude the minute she walked in. After throwing the test results at our laps, she insulted us for not knowing how to read the calcium score test. After being called out on her deplorable behavior, she walked out of the room. I hope this one star review gets to Dr. Isaac so he can address these issues.
