Dr. Tayyan treated my father several years ago. Although my father passed away in 2015, I will always be grateful to Dr. Tayyan. He is an incredible and compassionate doctor who genuinely cares for his patients and consistently makes the best decisions for their well-being.

I've been seeing this doctor since I had a case of cancer in 2008. He helped take care of my heart through some very serious chemo. He referred me to the medical center for an operation that improved my health after the treatment was finished. He sent me to one of the city's best hospitals for the type of operation I needed and referred me to a good surgeon. He's blunt and truthful. I adore those characteristics in a doctor, even if what he's saying is painful to hear. In addition to that, he's smart as a whip and has an excellent sense of humor. His staff has always been very professional, another trait in a medical practice that I appreciate. So please don't pay attention to someone making inane comments. This is a good doctor with a highly efficient staff. I recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Tayyan operated on my mom 10 years ago. He was so professional, kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I am now his patient and have been for 5+ years. Trust him exclusively with my heart!

Dr. Tayyan is the best! He saw my husband through a massive staph infection in his heart, got us to Memorial Herman Heart and Vascular for open heart surgery, and through the recovery. So, when I needed a cardiologist, he was the only one I would trust. He is brilliant, funny and very straight forward - NO BS. His office staff is very good, friendly, and on the ball.

He's been my mother's cardiologist for more than 8 yrs. His staff is the best. They are always helpful. My mom had a kidney removed and developed a blood clot during the surgery. The surgeon's team placed her on Eliquis, but the medicine was not immediately approved by her insurance bc the surgeon was not a cardiologist. I called Dr. Tayyan's office and they provided at least 2 weeks worth of samples to help us out until the insurance could approve the medication. These pills are about $10 each, maybe more, and she was taking 2 per day. He then made the request to get her medicine approved, even though he wasn't part of the team that operated on my mom. He has never tried to push his religion on us and he has had the same staff for several years so I am sure that he must at least treat them fairly. When other doctor's told us that my mom would probably die on the operating table, he was the only one who gave us hope that she was strong enough to endure the surgery. He put his ego aside and told us that if we could get into the Texas Medical Center, my mom's chances were even better. He's the only doctor we've kept and we take his advice. He recommended my mom's new PCP.
