Dr Kadakia is always ready to listen and provide meaningful feedback. Been taking excellent care of my heart for over 15 years. He gets down to what's important for my health.
I honestly don't even know where to start. I've worked in the medical field and down in the med center for over 20 years with different doctors from different backgrounds. This doctor is the epitome of what we call a prideful doctor with a god complex. It's a little eerie that there are so many curated reviews on here. But I have so many red flags it's not even funny. I've had other negative experiences, but I decided not to put a review out on it because it maybe was just a one-time thing. I have to take this seriously when it comes watching out for my father who was a patient of Dr. Kadakia, up until today. My parents are much older, and my dad has dementia. I had a minor complaint but his response said it all. So here it goes... Their appointment was at 11:00 and I met them there. I came in at 11:45 to the Cypress Professional building and noticed Dr. Kadakia chilling on his phone waiting for the elevator. (Why was he downstairs looking like he just came off lunch when he should be in clinic? He has patients scheduled) But I just blew it off and assumed the best.....Maybe he was having to run to the hospital to make rounds or something. Or there was some kind of emergency. Anyways, he walks into the elevator without even letting an older couple come out first, who were already in the elevator trying to come out. We both went to the same floor. When I got to the waiting room, my parents were still in the waiting room (at 11:50) and when we got into the back room we had to wait another 20 minutes. Long story short, At the end of the visit which of course only was like 10 minutes, I expressed my concern about how long my parents were having to wait. His response was so SHOCKINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY IMMATURE.. I Can't believe I triggered him so quickly by expressing how concerned I was for my parents for having to wait so long. He could have at least tried to make something up like there was some kind of emergency? But no! His excuse was he didn't see anybody in the back rooms, And he had a run downstairs to take care of something. And then I responded, You had to take care of something that took 45 minutes? Because my mom casually mentioned she saw you leave at 11:00 and then I got here at 11:45 and you were waiting for the elevator.. So he decided to take a lunch? While scheduled patients are waiting in the waiting room? He had nothing to say but the first thing that comes out of his mouth is, if you aren't happy we have plenty of patients, yall can go somewhere else. I responded and told him, well that's the problem, you aren't concerned with how we feel in the matter, you're quick to react and imform us you already have plenty of patients which means you view us as just another number on your paycheck. And unfortunately some doctors are desensitized. They go through the motions and that brings down the values of customer service and actually caring for someone and making them feel welcome. I'm looking at the reviews on here all I can come up with is that this guy's really really good at putting up a front. Because when things don't go his way, he's a completely different person.. Don't let his fakeness fool you. If you're looking for a prideful doctor who does not like to listen and comes across as an know-it-all, this doc is just the right one for you! I'm not sure if reaching out to the office manager will do anything but I'm at least going to express this experience. We are definitely looking for a new cardiologist ASAP.
I love this doctor R.Kadakia, because he tells me exactly what issues I have with my heart and blood pressure...
Dr Kadakia is the best Cardiologist I have had . He is very caring. From the minute he comes into the exam room until the appt is over, he makes me feel comfortable. He isn't in a rush, He listens to my concerns and answers my questions, in a way I can understand. I am moving to Austin soon. I wish it wasn't a long drive or I would continue to come see him. I am a Senior citizen female and I highly recommend him.
