I've had a very disappointing experience with this doctor's office. From the start, it feels like they are more focused on charging insurance and collecting co-pays than actually helping patients. I originally went in for vein issues, yet they insisted on running unnecessary tests like an EKG, even though I wasn't there for heart-related concerns. The administrative staff is also extremely unprofessional. Elizabeth, in particular, actually laughed in my face when I asked if they could improve how they communicate with patients -- which was both rude and disheartening. On another visit, I waited over an hour for a test only to be told they had no updates, were having "complications," and suggested I just reschedule. This has been the pattern across all three of my visits: long waits, poor communication, wasted time, and zero helpful outcomes. Dr. Mesa himself was not proactive, and I left feeling like nothing was accomplished. The office is disorganized, unhelpful, and unprofessional. After multiple negative experiences, I've decided to find a new doctor -- one who is truly patient-focused and proficient. For your own peace of mind and health, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The first time I went, they gave me an electrocardiogram. The second time I went to receive the results, Dr. Mesa told me my test wasn't normal. When I asked him what was wrong, he just said that a woman's heart is different from a man's. He didn't tell me what was wrong. Then he left the small room. I thought he would come back and tell me, but he never did. I asked at reception about my results and was told the doctor was busy and couldn't see me. Also, while I was undressing for the test, a young male assistant or nurse came into the room to throw away a piece of paper in the trash can, but I noticed he stared at my chest as soon as he came in. I'm glad I was at least wearing a bra. But I think "throwing away a piece of paper while I was undressing" was just an excuse to try to see me. That's very unprofessional. Why didn't he throw the paper away in another room or somewhere else?

The best cardiologist I have ever known!!! He is taking care of my husband very well!! God bless him

I was a new patient & didn't know what to expect having just come from the ER the night before. Very caring Dr. & staff. I was seen right away & Dr. Mesa was very thorough & I trusted his expertise. The staff was extremely kind. I highly recommend.
