Baylor Scott & White Specialty Clinic - Harker Heights

I went to Baylor Scott and White Specialty Clinic one time I will NEVER be back to any location. I had my woman's annual exam done and received a bill for $1927.19. My insurance paid $964.76. I have NEVER received a bill for a annual exam which is 100% covered by insurance. I have called BS&W at least 3 times to make sure it was coded correctly. They said it was coded correctly and insurance is just paying less. I have also talked to my insurance twice. I guess they don't cover when the clinic grossly overcharges. This doesn't feel fair at all.

Dr Turner did not listen to me during my labor when I told her I wasn't feeling right after an hour of shortness of breath, shoulder pain and my complaints ignored I ended up suffering a uterine rupture and my baby passed away. A year later I still haven't spoke to anyone to Scott and white regarding the complaint I made or any questions I ask to be answered. I do not recommend her

Christina who answers the phone is very rude and cuts you off without letting you speak. When asked to speak with a supervisor she will give you the run around. I normally go to the Hemingway office( 100% love them ! ) but for this provider they scheduled me at harker heights. I will say my appointment is not until Friday but just her demeanor alone makes me not want to be in that negative environment and the reviews as well makes it no better.

Currently 36 weeks pregnant and just received the most nonchalant call that "your doctor is no longer with us and I just called to reschedule your appointments". First of all, do you guys not care that patients have bonded with their provider and with me being so far into my pregnancy do not appreciate just being tossed off to another doctor that I do not know. The only African American doctor you have is now gone and you have no one else that can replace her. A doctor who made me feel cared for and heard is now gone. 0/5 stars for the treatment and 0/5 for putting me in this situation at 9 months pregnant.

I dont ever leave reviews but if I could I'd leave 0 stars they don't not care especially Dr.Cannel. she brushes off concerns left and right and is never in clinic when need. I get the run around and treated like nothing I say is important or worth acknowledging and when results are out she will not go over them. It's a waste of time going here.
