It was my first visit with Dr. Conner, but I had been to another doctor in his practice for other areas of need. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and explained things to me in a way I could understand. In addition he was personable and caring. Didn't expect less, this entire practice is great starting from the front desk, nurses, and medical techs. Dr. Zea performed my emergency vascular surgery, he is wonderful as well. As a first time open heart surgery candidate, I was impressed with Dr Connor's thorough preparation for our initial meeting. It was apparent that he had reviewed the records provided with the consult and we spent the first half of the consult discussing how I came to be in his examining room - lots of questions and recording of answers. Following his examination he detailed the procedure, post operative care, and the risks involved. We concluded our initial consultation by setting the date for surgery. His nurse provided pre operative instructions, in writing and explain them to me, including an invitation to the CTVS Patient Portal. I am at ease with Dr Connor and his team taking care of me through this process. A month post op - I have now been there and done that for bypass surgery. Dr Connor cleared me to continue healing. Thank you to the entire team.
Dr. Conner is an incredibly talented, capable and knowledgeable surgeon. He saved my husband's life; we will be forever grateful. He has a no nonsense, down to earth communication style and is easy to talk with and to understand. Dr. Conner has hired excellent support staff, each very good at their specific job. He and his assistants were patient with us and answered all of our questions thoroughly. There is no doubt that every one of them, including Dr. Conner, cares about their patients.
