About Dr. Brent A. Patterson, MD
I was born in Ft. Worth and grew up in Arlington. I went to college in Georgetown, Texas at Southwestern University and then came back to Dallas to attend Southwestern Medical School. I went to Portland, Oregon for internal medicine residency at Legacy Health System. After completion of my internal medicine training, I worked for a year as a hospitalist in McMinnville, Oregon. That is where the Spruce Goose currently resides, and I drove past it every day on my way to work. Then I came back to Dallas to pursue my passion, Cardiology.

Dr Patterson is a very good Cardiologist, However the staff and answering service is very poor. If your needing to contact this office, I would look for another practice. I get the impression the staff is not very good with customer service, nor are they interested in helping patients with concerns.

My wife was referred to Dr. Patterson at Heart Place for assessment and subsequent testing at their facilities. I found Dr. Patterson to be very pleasant and willing to listen to her concerns. He was thorough in his preliminary evaluation and happy to explain the things we did not understand. In addition, I experienced smiling faces and a pleasant demeanor while dealing with the office personnel. It will be unfair not to mention Kimberly and Fanny they were very friendly and professional. Overall, I would certainly recommend Dr. Patterson.

Doctor Patterson takes time to explain my heart problems and prescribe medication that made me feel much better. I was a patient of Doctor Bret but he retired. I was hoping to get a Doctor as good as Doctor Bret and I hit the jackpot with Doctor Patterson. I am very satisfied with Doctor Patterson's care.
