Dr Thomas is board certified in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease with additional fellowship training in structural heart disease and complex coronary intervention. His expertise includes the treatment of valvular heart disease with transcatheter therapies, percutaneous left atrial appendage and ASD/PFO closure, high-risk coronary intervention, and the treatment of carotid and peripheral vascular disease. In addition, he enjoys teaching and is a faculty member of the cardiology fellowship program at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital - Plano. He values his family and his faith in Christ and desires to see patients healed to the fullest.

My step-dad saw Dr Thomas yesterday and let me just say the experience was wonderful. He explained everything that was going on to a 73 year old so that he understood exactly what was going on and what he was going to do to help. My usual approach is that I have to explain what went on at the visit after we leave and that didn't have to happen yesterday which was very rare.
