Michelle Ejimakor, DO

Dr. Ejimakor has been nothing short of amazing. She takes her time to review every single detail of my labs, explains results in a way that's easy to understand, and genuinely cares about her patients' health and peace of mind. I've never felt rushed or dismissed -- she's thorough, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. What really stands out is how attentive and communicative she is. If something looks off in my labs, she personally follows up to discuss next steps and makes sure I fully understand the plan. You can tell she's dedicated to her patients and takes her responsibility seriously. It's rare to find a doctor who combines such medical expertise with kindness and professionalism. I've recommended Dr. Ejimakor to several family members and friends, and they all say the same thing, she's the best primary care physician they've ever had. I feel lucky to have her in charge of my care!

I recently moved to the area and wasn't able to find a PCP, due to my busy work schedule. It turns out, I ended up catching a common cold , which in turn resulted in bronchitis. Dr. Ejimakor was one of the highly recommended PCP through my insurance and other reviews. I called the following day to see if they would be able to accommodate me and the receptionist was able to get me in the same morning, due to the severity of my illness. The process of getting checked in with Kemi was seamless. She was caring and aware that I was not able to speak at this point. Kemi ensured I was comfortable and had me processed in a matter of minutes. I waited 8 minutes after my appointment time and was brought to the patient room. The physician assistant who brought me in was also caring and empathized with my situation. She brought me water and understood I was not able to speak due to the coughing fits. When I met with Dr. Ejimakor, I was treated with respect and kindness. She went over the detailed notes the assistant provided and ensured did not repeat the same questions. My medical notes from the urgent care was also thoroughly examined. Dr. Ejimakor spoke to me in a friendly and professional demeanor. She ensured that I understood what was happening to my body and the recommended medications I would need to take in order to recover. Upon checking out, Teresa also provided the same friendly demeanor which mirrored everyone I interacted with. She processed my checkout quickly and genuinely said, "I hope you feel better, please get some rest." My prescription was immediately sent over to the correct pharmacy. I was able to go home and pick up my medicine shortly after. It has been a few days since I was completely out of it and feeling beat down. I have fully recovered at 90% because of the Dr. Ejimakor's recommendation. I have not felt this great in several weeks. I am so glad I was able to finally find a PCP that cares about patience. My health was important to her, and she genuinely wanted to help me. The staff at BSW did an incredible job taking care of my during my visit. Although, I wish the first visit was not that severe, I appreciated how they were understanding of my situation.

My experience with Dr. Ejimakor and this office has been extremely disappointing, especially regarding follow-up care for abnormal lab results. Communication is nearly impossible--messages go unanswered for days, and when the assistants do respond, it's only to "extend the response time" rather than provide actual help or address concerns. There is absolutely no sense of urgency or regard for patient well-being. It is unacceptable for a practice partnered with my insurance to treat patients this way. My company would not enjoy hearing how poorly this office manages responsibility and care. Due to the lack of follow-through, disregard, and unprofessional handling of abnormal results, I will now be filing several formal complaints against this doctor and the office. I do not recommend this provider to anyone seeking attentive or reliable medical care.

Dr.Ejimakor is an outstanding physician. She listens, cares deeply, and takes time to make sure we feel heard and cared for. My spouse and I couldn't ask for a better doctor, truly the best! A wonderful experience for my family and I!

I had the best appointment ever! Dr. E, listened to all of my concerns, she was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. She wasn't rushing and definitely showed she cares about her patients. I'm happy to call her my doctor.
