The entire team made me feel comfortable, informed, and valued throughout my visit. I especially want to give extra special recognition to Vanessa. She went above and beyond in every way; calling me multiple times to help secure appointments before the end of the year, assisting with insurance matters, and ensuring I received the care I needed. Her dedication and compassion truly stood out and made a meaningful difference in my experience. Thanks to the wonderful care from the doctor and the whole team, I left feeling confident, cared for, and so glad I chose this practice. Dr. Begum is an exceptional cardiologist. She was proactive in my care and got to the bottom of what was going on with my heart. She did not wait til my condition got worse, like a top cardiologist wanted to wait and see. I am so grateful and blessed to have found her as a second opinion. She cares for you as a patient and is passionate about her field of study and helping her patients find out what is wrong with their heart. Because she referred me to the right cardiologists and hospital to get the deeper care that I needed and because of God, I am here today after life-saving and life-extending cardiac care and surgery.

Dr. B is thorough and empathetic. Listens to patient's concerns & experiences. Able to fit patients in when there is a need. When other cardiologist could not provide a treatment plan when symptoms did not neatly fit into algorithms, she went the extra mile.

Dr. Shahnaz Begum and her team were very welcoming and professional! Soon after receiving my PCP request, her office called, got me scheduled and explained the communications I would receive and what I needed for my visit! I forgot somethings and called for a reminder and they were more than happy to help! During my visit the receptionists were super super inviting and detailed. Dr. Shahnaz Begum was no disappointed either, as she asked every health question that was needed for my medical assessment and she provided me with extreme detail and specific next steps!
