Let me start off by his one star reviews are not by his doing. This man is AMAZING!! My dad followed Dr. Baweja to Texas Health Harris Fort Worth, where he would end up having a quadruple bypass performed by Dr. Wyler Von Ballmoos. These two doctors went above and beyond for my father. They did not rush into anything, and took time to study my fathers heart to determine the best course of action. We were scared to go down the path of open heart surgery, but Dr. Baweja made it very clear ... he gets paid to put in stents and a stent is not going to fix the blockage. If this was one of his family members, he would have them do bypass. He could have easily gone down the route that benefits him, but he put my dads life before his own needs. This whole time we have been trying to figure out why we liked Dr. Baweja so much, and we figured it out today... he is genuine. He doesn't speak to you with his nose in the air because he is a doctor. He is a genuine person who truly cares about his patients. He came by several times just to check in on my dad, nothing more. He helped ease our minds and was there throughout the entire 10-11 day process. My family is beyond grateful for him. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a cardiologist. Keep up the hard work and passion!! For the first time in my fathers life, he truly trusts a doctor. That doctor would be Dr. Baweja.

I recently met Dr. Baweja and was very pleased with my visit. Dr. Baweja made me feel comfortable and he never seemed in a rush to get to his next appointment. I was extremely impressed with how he went out of his way to make sure of dates, time, and procedures that would work with my schedule.

Update 8/28/23 I was recently discharged from UTSW after being admitted for 2.5 days for exertional hypoxemia. All I was looking for was medical advice regarding my extreme shortness of breath and palpitations so I wouldn't end up in hospital. I may be young, but I guarantee I have more specialist than someone twice my age. I wish I would have been taken seriously. I had an appointment with Dr. Baweja's PA Dale yesterday to go over test results. After waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes, they informed me that they were going to have to cancel my appointment because I have my 3 young children with me (including infant twins). Previously, I was "allowed" to bring my children, but for some reason not this time. I asked if I could do a virtual visit, and they agreed. The medical assistant came out, tried to give my young children candy airheads candy, she obtained my review of symptoms after my initial symptom report was thrown away. I was told that I could do my virtual visit there in the lobby, in the corner away from everyone. Then the assistant office manager and manager came out to tell me I can't do my visit there. While I was trying to complete the E check in for my virtual visit, I was continuously harassed by management. I asked them to please leave me alone so that I could finish working on the e checkin. I have lupus attacking my brain and suspected that it's attacking my heart. It requires GREAT EFFORT for me to complete simple tasks, and the continual harassment made me miss my appointment. I'm a single disabled mother of 5 children struggling to survive on a daily basis, let alone try and make it into a doctors appointment downtown. I've never had any problems with Dr. Baweja personally, except the last time I was seen. I had meds thrown at me instead of listened to. I had Covid at the beginning of July, and my cardiac symptoms have changed. I was not given a EKG or even offered a Holter monitor until I had conveyed the severity of my symptoms and feeling like I needed to go to the emergency room. I've been trying to stay out of the hospital for the last week, this would've been my second cardiology appointment in 2 weeks. I am disheartened with the care that I had received from Texas Health Resources. Unfortunately, this type of discrimination against being a WOMAN and a MOTHER has not only happen to me as a patient, but also as an employee with Texas health resources.

I love this man! He has operated on me twice now over a span of years. Besides his obvious technical skills and expertise, his person-to-person skills are amazing! He is careful to explain everything in terms that I can understand, and never EVER makes me feel as though he's in a hurry to move on. I am so very fortunate to have him as one of my physicians!
