My experience at Baylor Scott and White Advanced Heart and Lung Disease was exceptional in every way. The facility is nice and clean, and the staff are extremely kind and helpful, and obviously very knowledgeable. I was particularly impressed with Dr. Megedo. She did a very thorough assessment of my background, including my family. She did not talk down to me or at me. She spoke to me like I was an old friend, explaining everything in a way that someone with no knowledge like me could understand. What I realized quickly is that she approaches disease analytically and with critical thinking, trying to determine causation. She said if she could determine the cause that would lead her in how to proceed with treatment. I couldn't possibly come up with enough accolades to explain my first visit there. She ordered every test imaginable, looking to put the pieces of the puzzle together. There's no question I'm in good hands at Baylor S&W Advanced Heart and Lung Disease. 5+ stars.
