The team have been absolutely incredible in every interaction. Every phone call and every aspect of the visit was excellent. The admin all all so kind and loved on my dog the minute I walked in. The tech who did my dog's echo was so kind and loving towards my dog. We barely had to wait when we got there, the procedure went well. My dog felt so safe she fell asleep during the echo! She is 3 yrs old, and usually nervous at vets, so this says alot about the team! The waiting room is the best I've been in. Clean, spacious, snacks, coffee, and water all complimentary. Amazing place. Wish we lived closer!
This is just about the ultrasound/ assessment by the tech team, not the vets. Excellent: My vet thought the report was very detailed. I think the assessment was excellent also. Thank you. I very much liked the person doing the echo. Needs MUCH improvement: 1. Website says pet parent can go in with their dog. They would not even entertain that idea and said I could take him home if I was not comfortable. Then when my dog was stressed, they came and got me (and he was much better). Thank you. 2. Client report was sent to me. NOTE: My vet had forwarded all reports. I paid for these services and for you to send only the client report to me is not cool. I would not have known if my vet had not sent everything. As a pet parent I want ALL medical records. There were FOUR records, I received only the client report. I felt like the services and exam were excellent. As a pet parent, I felt like I was not treated with the respect that I would like as the primary team member of my dogs health. The above needs changing, and/or be honest on your website. The staff was friendly and matter of fact, they were just following protocol. I would not have booked an appointment if I knew that I would not be allowed to be with my dog. He is highly trained, I need to keep him comfortable with people and stressful experiences at a minimum as he is highly competitive in many dog sports. Rating is a 4 only because the medical side was excellent (the report would rate a 5). I was impressed with many staff. Most people would not really care if they want only the client report and they probably are fine with a dog going in themselves for the exam. The dog had to lay still with 2 people holding him for almost 30 minutes. To me, being with the dog was essential to make him comfortable. I did not talk or bother the staff. I simply stroked his head with an occasional "good stay", "good boy" and you could see his heart rate go down. ALL records should be forwarded to the pet parent. I feel like this place would get an excellent rating otherwise.
Excellent experience. Professional, friendly staff. Very quick turnaround on reports sent to my primary vet. We brought our 3 sphynx cats for back-to-back-to-back heart ultrasound appointments. The process went quickly and smoothly at the CVCA office and the cats were not unduly stressed. Pricing is reasonable compared to other options in the DFW area. We will be back!
Wonderful staff that is transparent! Quick and concise communication while being willing to take time to answer any questions you might have. The front desk staff to the technician were wonderful. The imagining my dog got done was quick and easy! Highly recommend
