Ricardo Kosturakis, MD

I saw a post on Facebook congratulating Dr. Kosturakis on his "knowledge and beside manner" and making him "Physician of the Month." His "knowledge" scheduled me for a CT scan with contrast and having me spend half a day (and $300) at the hospital to not get a procedure done. He didn't read my chart and saw that I am allergic to iodine nor was I prescribed ANY medication prior. He told me I was killing myself without asking my medical history, without asking what course of action my PCP and I were taking, nor did he ask my opinion on the CT scan. Majorly disappointed that he comes so highly recommended.

My experiences with Dr K have been fantastic. Ihave no complaints and nothing but praise for this man. Very professional, courteous, and attentive. First time to experience the procedures entry point through my wrist. GREAT! No pain, no discomfort, no complications, no problems whatsoever. Staff is professional and courteous. If you have heart issues, Dr K is the man to see. MI x 5 or 6. TIA x 2. 3 stents in heart arteries.

El Paso Cardiology Associares is the premier heart treatment group in town. I've never heard any negatively about anyone there. When I needed to choose a new doc, no reflection on the established veterans, I asked for the youngest one there. My thinking was that knowledge of the newest technology would be prevalent. I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. K. He's thorough and engaging. When I had a procedure done at hospital, while we were waiting before they put me to sleep, the nurses told me that he was highly educated, and he trained at top flight schools. If you have heart trouble, he's the physician for you.
