Not only are appointments 3 months out.. but the receptionist I spoke to was very rude and condescending. She was happy to inform me I can't make an appointment because my referral did not have the doctor's name which is ridiculous because they are made that way so I can PICK my doctor. She also made remarks like "don't you think I need to know your Doctor's name so she can send medical records" with a nasty tone. This needs to be addressed, I was excited to book an appointment with a good doctor but it's always the front desk staff who scare patients away.

Dr Assi is awesome. He takes the time to explain to my test results and all asking if I had any questions for him. I highly recommend this Doctor for your heart health.

What happens when there are concerns regard a cardiovascular procedure or a vital medication? No one to speak to, so many prompts but never get to speak to someone directly. Leave you on hold and get hung up after 10 minutes waiting to speak to staff, or leave messages. Might as well call 911 .

My wife went in to see what issues she's having with her heart. We were planning on moving to el paso . Dr Assi was recommended by my brother in law. First off you walk in and you're asked if your there for an appointment obviously yes ! You're automatically judged. Nurse who took her in couldn't pronounce her name correctly and when my wife was getting weighed basically said seesh. Like that was so unprofessional. You don't know a person's life and lifestyle. Just because a person is a Lil chunky doesn't necessarily mean they eat alot. You don't know their background. Nurse was unprofessional. She has high and anxiety and it took alot for her to go in . Dr Assi basically just went in looked at her and didn't even listen to anything she had to say. He was dismissive. Dr Assi why are you even here you don't listen to your patients. Ok here's a good thing Felipe Andres Ochoa an assistant i believe. He was great with her kind and listened to her and had a good plan. Recommended a heart monitor but the nurses or people up front said they had to wait on insurance and he said that's weird this never happens basically you get it and walk out. We left and received a call minute's later saying we didn't have to wait for insurance. This appointment started off not as a great experience. Scans that were recommend were too expensive for us. So we called the Dr's office see if we could gave referrals to a cheaper place receptionist took our message and would relay to whomever would help. I did not take her name. Now 1 week later we heard nothing so we called and left a message because they never answer their phones. But surprisingly they called back and i explained the situation. Lady who called asked who I spoke with and I said I don't remember asked what this person looked like! I'm like Lady i wasn't there we called in. Basically she was saying we didn't call and there were no notes about this. In other words she was saying we were lying. My wife got furious and started cursing and upset this is understandable since like I said this started off bad. Lady said she could talk to us with rhat kund if language. I mean come on anyone would be upset problem affter problem. We did them a favor by hanging up.Month later we request records to be sent to her original cardiologist in las vegas that went smooth. But Dr Assis put in his notes that she was excessively obese which she's not and that she has high cholesterol and is diabetic which all this is false! How are you going to assume this by looking at her. Bloodwork was never done. BTW she has had bloodwork done and her numbers are always great. This office is not for everyone. Take everyone's reviews in consideration. We will not be returning.

Wish I could speak to Dr. Assi about his front desk staff!! I was there 1000am for 1020am appt..been waiting for this appt for 3months! Give them all ID, ins, info/ new patient records/ But I left debit card in jeans back home and didn't have any cash but my brother who happened to be working, literally around the corner came to my res ue ...less than 5-10 minutes...went back upstairs with $20.00 to the office and they said I was late for my appt?!! She called their manager when I asked if I could speak to the Doctor...nice !! I'm sure he will charge more than $20.00 to my Insurance for office visit!!!!! Not happy!!
