Dr. Chikezie C. Amadi, MD

Great physician. Kind, thoughtful, and caring. Traveled far to help my fiance. Put us at ease & was completely honest about prognosis.

I always take my mom and the wait time is average. My mom is 91 and she loves him, he tends to her needs and talks to her. He is a wonderful doctor. You can call the front desk to state you will be going to your appointment and they sign you in.

My Mom had to wait two hours and Dr Amadi never showed up for her appointment. She has never seen the doctor for appointments and this was the last straw. She's going to schedule her appointment with someone else. A sign on the front door says mask required but half the staff isn't even wearing masks and they are dealing with high risk patients that need to be protected.

Previous reviews going back years mention a long wait time. It's no joke! 4 hours to see the doctor. He works on call with the hospital and it seems that his office books a full day of patients and he is on call very often so it's the norm to wait over 2 hours for your appointment. If the patients didn't have heart problems before this, they'll definitely have some when trying to keep him as their cardiologist.

Dr. Chikezie C. Amadi is absolutely one of the most dedicated doctors that I have ever had the good fortune and Grace Of God to meet. He met my father at the ER at 1:00 AM after we arrived from Ruidoso. He never made any rash uninformed decisions about dad's health. After three days in the ICU at Providence Memorial in El Paso(GREAT HOSPITAL AND STAFF!), Dr. Amadi installed a pacemaker and Dad is feeling better and getting stronger by the day. To the patients that sometimes have to wait because Dr. Amadi has been called out, please try to have patience!! We had a 1:45 follow up appointment and drove in from Ruidoso. We didn't get to see Dr. Chikezie C. Amadi until after 5:00! He was saving someone else's mom, dad, brother or sister on the West Side of EP. That wait seemed very trivial! If you were in that position, you would want Dr. Chikezie C. Amadi performing the surgery on your loved one. As soon as he was called out of the office his staff immediately notified us of the delay so we could go eat while waiting. His staff are great as well, all of them are smiling and seem to be genuinely happy to be there!! It's been a great experience for our family!
