I have been out of town and just found out my grandfather was admitted to this hospital. My grandfather has been hospitalized here since Tuesday and it is late Friday night and has not been bathed or had his clothing changed since admission, despite repeatedly requesting assistance. He remains in the same clothes he arrived in days ago. This level of neglect is completely unacceptable and deeply concerning, especially for an elderly patient who requires basic care.
Nursing staff has acknowledged his requests multiple times, yet no action has been taken. I spoke with Ally, who stated she would notify his nurse; over 30 minutes later, no one had come to assist him.
As a Black elderly man, my grandfather has expressed feeling that he may be receiving substandard treatment because of his race. Whether intentional or not, no patient should ever be left to feel this way. Basic hygiene is not optional, it is a fundamental part of patient dignity and care.
The lack of responsiveness has left our family feeling ignored and alarmed. Based on this experience, I strongly urge others, especially families with elderly loved ones, to carefully consider this facility.
He is STILL waiting on a bath and a hospital gown in which they clearly must not have.

I was treated with the best ever care from the signin process to my discharge ! Admitted for surgery, stayed 3 days, and I was treated excellently in all areas and all respects. I had the same tech each night and I cannot praise James enough ! He was the best! He was my Big kind gentle giant! He made sure my daughter was comfortable in her converted bed ! All techs could take a lesson from James - If I had one complaint it was my food trays / I was on a no caffeine diet and I was served every meal. I did get my broth and jello and ensure like I was supposed to though, and my daughter drank the coffee and tea so that was good for no waste but I sure wanted it ! I would still give the hospital an A+++

I wrote a review that detailed everything, but I guess its too long for here. Here is the short version. Dr. Emmanuel and Nurse Henrietta are the reason for the 3 stars. In fact, it should be negative stars. They made this hospital stay unbearable, especially Henrietta.
But I did not want to rate my overall stay that way. There were several people on the 2nd floor who did an amazing job and I want to recognize them. They are Monica, Olivia, Donald, Mimi, Stacy, Chuck, and sweet Blossom and Lindsey Coleman. And of course Dr. Vibhuti. But I really want to give a special shout out to Olivia--my hero!! Seriously, your kindness and thoroughness made such a difference. Thank you for treating me like a human being and for trying to make me as comfortable as one can be in a hospital. You are an amazing advocate and I was blessed to have you care for me.
I would go back if I had to, but I would absolutely say from the beginning no Dr. Emmanuel and no nurse named Henrietta, if you avoid them, then you should feel confident in this hospital.

I stayed for three days and everyone was extremely kind. They were able to diagnose me in three days after running tests. Although it took some time, they had reassured me they will do their best to make sure I get home healthy. Everyone did their job perfectly and I recommend this hospital. Even the night shift nurses were very nice. Had a good experience.

Medical City Denton's staff during my stay due to a medical emergency was top notch. The doctors were very helpful and attentive to my needs. The true all stars were the nurses. They all were amazing and so personable. Felt truly cared for and made to feel I mattered at all times. Not enough space to name them all. Thank you!!!
