Dr. Sontenini was called in to address my husband's cardiac event while he was an inpatient at TX Health Presby Hospital Denton 12/04-12/07 recovering from an unrelated endoscopic procedure. Dr. Sontenini performed a cardiac cath which showed a major blockage in the LAD, and he put in 2 stents successfully. He is a very caring physician and I feel he most likely saved my husbands life. ***HOWEVER.* his office staff and woman at front desk are very unprofessional, uncaring, frustrating to say the least. It has been the most stressful time just trying to get them to do anything, said they didn't even have him as patient more than once even though we were in the office a week after the surgery !! The physician has requested my husband have an echocardiogram but they continue to ignore & refuse our request to have the order sent to the hospitals outpatient radiology. As of today , 12/31, The echo still needs to be done and we will not have it done at the office, despite their persistence. Our insurance will cover any diagnostic provider of our choice. We have left multiple messages for the physician but I do not think they are relaying to him. Not sure at this point who we need to contact but this issue needs resolution asap.
