Dr. Vikas Jindal

I was very impressed with the ease with which I was attended to as a new patient. Dr Jindal had my records in front of him to go over in detail and he explained clearly a plan going forward to manage my care as his patient. He explained my medications clearly and also took time to answer any questions.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Jindal. He examined me in early 2024 when I had some heart inflammation after having COVID in late 2023. He also tested my heart for symptoms of autoimmune conditions (via heart monitor and some other testing, like ultrasound, maybe?). He is kind, listens to your concerns, and isn't dismissive whatsoever. An illustrative story: All of my doctors think I have one or more autoimmune conditions (things like RA, T1D and Hashimoto's run in my family), specifically something related to connective tissue. Among other symptoms, I have a torn rotator cuff but no inciting incident for it, all the soft markers for Marfan's, minor hyperflexibility, etc. During one of our visits, I briefly mentioned Marfan's (it can also cause some specific heart problems that he was testing for relative to another suspected condition), but said I really wasn't sure what I have or where to go with it. Dr. Jindal started asking questions. He was curious about my symptoms and genuinely listened to me describing the issues, what my other doctors think could be going on, etc. Marfan's is not his area, but he looked up the basic markers, went through them with me, and eventually asked "surely you haven't had detached retinas, right?" I said, "I actually had 3 detarched retinas with no acute cause when I was only 27." He said, ok well it certainly could be that. He then spent almost 15 minutes researching Marfan's specialists in Texas to see if he could find an adult practitioner who could look into this for me. He also told me to call him and leave a message updating him if I figured out what was wrong. I still haven't quite figured it out (I should probably call that specialist! I got sidetracked...), but you better believe I will be calling him to tell him when I do. Truly exceptional patient care from Dr. Jindal, and I can't recommend him highly enough!

From the moment I walked into the office I was met with friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Jindal was very helpful during a stressful process. He informed me of everything I needed to know and set clear expectations for follow ups. I could not stress how much this brought me ease during a hard time. The appointment was also quick, I did not have to wait long to be seen. I felt seen and heard every step of the visit. Thank you!
