I initially went to Dr. Canham for a second opinion. I expected it would be a relatively short visit, but instead he had reviewed all of my history prior to the appt (not during the appt like many Drs do), asked questions no one has asked me before, and took more time to talk with me about my concerns beyond a level than any of the other doctors I have seen previously. For the first time in a long time I felt like I had a solid plan in place. After only one visit with him and realizing how attentive, caring, and knowledgeable he is, I decided I did not just value his second opinion, but wanted to switch to him as my primary cardiologist. I don't care how far I have to travel (he has virtual appts too!) - excellent care is totally worth it. He even called me a few weeks later just to 'check in' to see how I was doing. WOW! I did not know that type of care even existed! I absolutely recommend Dr. Canham to anyone looking for exceptional cardiology care.
