I was a bit apprehensive as I have never even been to Dallas before. My daughter had to have a specialized surgery and came here from Houston. Our experience was great! She was well taken care of. The hospital seemed clean and the employees and nurses were friendly and helpful. Even the valets I encountered were very easy to talk to. My only small complaint was that I spent one night with her and it is so uncomfortable. I thought I could sleep in the recliner but it doesn't recline very much. So I tried that green slippery hard as a rock couch that makes into a green slippery hard as a rock bigger rock. For such a nice hospital you would think they could have a recliner that reclines. Again sorry to complain about that. One more item. My daughter came out of surgery mid afternoon and by the time she was awake enough to eat the kitchen was closed. So no food after 7:00. Thought that was a bit odd. But overall 5 stars for her successful operation!

I had to go to Baylor Heart and Vascular building on Hall St in Dallas for a 24 hour blood pressure monitoring device. It was a very pleasant experience. This wonderful Black young woman applied the apparatus and explained everything to me. She told me what to expect and how often this "thing" would take my blood pressure (ugh!) She told me her name but I forgot. She was warm and friendly and professional at the same time (I always knew that was possible.) 24 hours later I returned the device. Everything went exactly as she described. I have to say that of all the buildings that I've gone into at BSW-Dallas this felt the most secure. The environment felt calm not rushed. I was escorted to the department by a registration staff member which I thought was very nice. I didn't have to find the office I needed I was taken to the right office by a staff member. What a pleasant surprise. They should do that in all of the buildings, God knows they have the money.

The experience was just wonderful. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and they instantly made me feel relaxed. I want to recognize Mariana, Juan, Sierra, Rachel, on the 4th floor there's 1 more but I didnt get her name. On the 3rd floor Michelle, McKenna and a few others that I was too drowsy to remember. You all made me feel comfortable and I truly made my stay enjoyable. Thank you all for what you do daily, your patience, and kindness is one of a kind. Thank you all again for making my stay just greatest experience

I had a relaxing process at BSWHV, that is with everything that happened after the intake with the receptionist. I was referred by the VA. The registration was made by the VA. Authorization and approval for payment was done by and through the VA. So why did I have a co-pay. The receptionist refuse to hear what I was saying to her and refused to verify anything that I was telling her. Her only concern is what her computer read. So I paid the very large co-pay, because I didn't want to be turned away from an appointment that I had waited over a year for. I am waiting for the reimbursement to post to my credit card. Had the receptionist cared more and performed a little verification, I/we wouldn't be going through this process. I can't help not to wonder...had I been someone else.

The actual procedure went well. The pre registration process was horrible. I received 3 automated calls asking me to call back to complete registration. No one answered, VM instructed me to leave a message for a call back. No one called back. I got no instructions on parking, what to wear, etc. Just was told "no caffeine 4 hours prior" when I made the appointment. But I got numerous texts and emails wanting payment, even after payment was made. So the message was loud and clear "we want our money, but don't care about you".
