Dr. Bavry and UT SW gave me life saving care for which I am very grateful. His skill and thorough evaluation led to discovery of a heart blockage that he fixed with a stent and of a 90% carotid artery blockage that was fixed by a vascular surgeon at UT SW. He led an evaluation to determine if I could receive a minimally invasive TAVR procedure to replace my aortic valve instead of having to have open heart surgery (which I had been told wasn't possible), and was the Interventional Cardiologist on the team that performed my TAVR procedure. The TAVR went perfectly. That's three saves. Thanks to Dr. Bavry and the rest of the fantastic staff at UT SW.
