Going to a doctor's appointment has never been as enjoyable as when I went to Dr. Chekuri's clinic. There was no excessive waiting, the office staff was courteous and very helpful, the nurses or technicians taking my vitals and performing my EKG were very professional and respectful and the whole experience was surprisingly satisfying. I am looking forward to my follow up visit. Extremely appreciative of Dr. Chekuri and all of his staff.
I was the first appointment of the day. I arrived at the required time of 9:30, my appointment was at 9:45. I was brought back and in the room by my appointment time but the doctor did not come in till about 10:20. That was 35 minutes after my scheduled time. My time is just as important as the doctors and if I was that late for my appointment I would have had to reschedule. I found it extremely rude and inconsiderate. I was never told the doctor was running late or anything. I took an early lunch from work to make it to this appointment and for the doctor to be that late and then only see me for maybe 5 minutes was unacceptable. I am considering going to another doctor.
My husband has been seeing Dr. Chekuri regularly for the past several years. We like that the doctor will listen to our questions and suggestions and provides great information in normal terms, not "doctor speak".
The whole visit was very quick. They are a finely tuned machine! I liked Dr. Chekuri for the brief moment I had with him. But since I don't have any heart issues I guess that's alright!
The visit was okay. They didnt get my paperwork from my my former doctor. The doctor is a bit scattered. He passed me off to a PA for my next visit. We will see how it goes. All he did was have me walk up and down the hall and askednme a couple questions.
