Dr Brandon and the emergency room staff were amazing. They admitted me and got me into the hands of Dr Cunningham. After a two-night stay at a cardiac procedure I am now at home. The staff there are fantastic. Just to name a few of my nurses May, Whitney and all the others they're so fantastic. And now the follow-up begins. They have already been contacting me and helping me schedule appointments and therapy.
Dr. Legha saved my mom's life. My parents relocated to the Houston area from New Jersey in May of 2024, so finding a cardiologist close to home was essential due to my mom's heart issues. She visited the Woodlands (this was the Houston Methodist location closest to home) for a cardiologist appointment and due to her condition she was referred to Dr. Legha due to her expertise with advanced heart failure. Within 1-2 visits with Dr Legha she broke the news that a heart transplant or LVAD would be the only options for my mom since her heart failure could no longer be managed with medications. Dr. Legha was eager to start the transplant workup as to not waste any time in getting her listed. A week after that appointment my mom needed to be admitted to the hospital and Dr Legha and her team instructed my family to bring her to Houston Methodist TMC where the transplant center is located. The majority of the heart transplant workup was completed during that hospitalization. She continued to see Dr. Legha for regular checkups outpatient. A few months later when my mom's symptoms worsened Dr Legha sat with us and let us know my mom would need to be admitted indefinitely until transplant. My mom received her gift in May 2025 and I know this would not have been possible without Dr Legha. My family is very grateful that Dr Legha was able to recognize my mom's heart failure was severe (unlike her doctors in New Jersey) and get her to where she is now - living with a brand new heart.
Dr. Legha was an exceptional cardiologist in determining the cause of my husband's stroke. She was very thorough in explaining all that was happening and the steps necessary to help him.
Was referred to Dr Legha-Acute Heart failure Cardiologist at Woodlands location by a cardiologist there. Her testing and review of my condition helped save my life! She recommended changes in meds and after pre-transplant tests in the Med Ctr after my condition soon deteriorated. As a result of her diagnosis and care; I was listed and had a successful heart transplant. Though if not for her rotation/availability at the nearby Woodlands HM location as acute heart failure cardiologist, which is close to my home and not the city traffic.. I probably wouldn't have sought out a doctor of her expertise until my condition was too critical.
I only have great things to say about Dr. Legha. She's amazing and I highly recommend her
