HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe

As a Healthcare professional, my expectations for experience may be on the 1st class side. The check in process is easy, the medical assistant at the window was great. The NP was very informative. The registration process was smooth and the lady was sweet. The xray tech was awesome. The only reason I provided a 3 star was the medical assistant (white, bald fade and short) was the biggest joke in the ER. There wasn't any room available on Wednesday and the NP ordered 2 shots. This lady insisted on me taking my sweater off in the ER lobby and I advised I didn't feel comfortable she stated well you will have to or wait hours for a room. We provide care in the lobby all the time. I said no and she walked off. She's very rude and has poor Healthcare skills. I voiced my concerns to the lady at the window she walked me to a private area and provided the injections. I will be filing a complaint with the State. That lady doesn't belong in Healthcare and if so maybe a warehouse with the attitude she had.

Everyone overseeing my care was fantastic. The nurse who prepped me for my surgery was kind, personable, and easy to talk to. The anesthesiologist had a strong confident energy about her while at the same time was friendly and funny. The other two nurses in charge of my care were compassionate and very attentive. They had me covered with multiple warm blankets when I woke up from surgery and told me I was shivering so they wanted to make sure I was warm. They all seemed very appreciative of a simple thank you. Each of them set an excellent example of how meaningful compassionate care is and I felt very safe under their care. I hope they know the pride they take in their work was definitely noticed.

I recently delivered my baby here at HCA Conroe and my experience was amazing. My birth was not so easy. 4 day induction and an emergency c-section. But the Labor and Delivery and later postpartum recovery staff was so amazing. Everyone was so kind. Very vigilant. Made me feel seen and heard and very taken care of. I will definitely be coming back for my next baby!!

Just had a c section here on Saturday and the care we received was just amazing! Hannah and Renee in labor and delivery were absolutely amazing! They helped with everything and were so attentive. Midwife Karen and Dr.Cheng did amazing on my c section as well. They made us feel very comfortable and gave us the information we needed about it. Nataylia and Nadia in postpartum I don't even have words for them! They were literally the best ever. We stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing! They helped with so much, they made us feel so comfortable and gave us so much good information! Def a 5 star experience!

I went in for surgery on 11/18, and due to an emergency surgery before me, my procedure was pushed back. Afterward, I was admitted overnight for monitoring and pain management. My surgeon, Dr. Judy Cheng, was amazing as always--she's been my OB for 16 years and has never let me down. But I especially want to give a big shoutout to my overnight nurse, Mrs. Deb. She took the time to truly get to know me and cared for me with such kindness and attentiveness. I've never had a nurse who made me feel so supported and comfortable. She was an absolute standout. Thank you, Conroe HCA, for employing nurses who truly care. Nurses like Deb make all the difference.
