I moved here from the Dallas area. My doctor retired; Dr Gary Weingarden, so I decided to move my cardiologist. One of my docs recommended Dr Bilhartz. I decided to go on the doctor recommendation even though a few friends were not happy with BCS heart. I didn't know where to go, so I decided to try Dr Bilhartz. I had a stent in my Lad (widow maker) in April 2021. Dr Bilhartz took me off of blood pressure meds. However, my PT noticed it has been high the last few weeks. I called the office, hoping to see him. He wasn't available for over a month. I could have a heart attack and die by then, like 3of my siblings and both parents. So when I went in to pay my bill, I tried to get them to just check my blood pressure, and I was told "there wasn't any one available, I could wait a couple hours and maybe someone could check my blood pressure."Maybe that suits other people but, I'm use to patient care and concern. Be aware you may not get individual patient care.
An amazing man. Makes eye contact with you, listens closely and makes correct decisions, but will change them if the case develops in another direction, He took over my A fib case from an incompetent "doctor." He has managed my problem for three years. I recommend him unconditionally.
