Dr Lechin is a perfectionist! He and his staff give are truly dedicated to patient care. It may take extra time and he may have to reschedule because someone came in by helicopter needing him to open a blocked artery and save their life ! You can rest assured that he will be the one you want to work on you or your loved ones. Very dedicated and very smart

When I had my first appointment I became very upset after waiting almost two hours. The staff tried to reassure me that he was not in the office but that he seeing patients and he would see me as soon as possible. I voiced my complaints and he said he had to see patients at the hospital but that he was here now. So we moved on. He ended up spending over an hour with me. By the time I left I felt very confident with him and his work as a caring doctor that knew what he was talking about. He had even reviewed my medicines and some of my history as to why I was referred to him before he saw me. Yes, I have learned to wait, to bring something to occupy my time, to not make my appointments too early in the morning or too late in the afternoon. He has now been my doctor for several years. My husband also is a patient of Dr. Lechin's. We are very pleased with the care we receive from him and feel the wait is worth it. His nurse Mary is always ready to help in anyway she can and his two P.A.s are also very attentive and caring. The quality care we receive from Dr. Lechin and his staff is is very exemplary in all ways.

I had an appointment with Lechin at 12:30, at 10 minutes until 3:00 I told one of the nurses to hell with him and left. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested, mind you I had to drive over 50 miles one way. I had inquired several times about him and when he could be expected, they couldn't tell me. As far as his bedside manner.....Lechin has never met a mirror that he didn't like and loves to hear himself talk. Don't let this guy waste your time, find a true professional.

Dr Lechin is a smart guy but seems very scattered and worst of all very arrogant when it comes to time. He thinks nothing of anyone waiting 2,3,4 hours. His staff is overall very complacent about everything and will not communicate in a timely manner. Being a great Doctor is more than just being competent. It also requires some compassion and respect for the patient.

I am writing this review because all doctors need to respect that patients have taken time out to come to their appointment but making patients wait for over two hours is unprofessional. My husband and father-in-law waited over two hours and are still waiting to be seen by the doctor. Dr Lechin might be a great cardiologist but he should be respectful of patients time. Don't make appointments if you can't see your patients in timely manner.
