If I had a spare $200 to go back to see him, I'd ask him who held him hostage and forced him to become a Cardiologist. I can't imagine why someone would CHOOSE to get a whole medical degree and then go through the trouble of actually specializing in Cardiology just to ignore their patients and be as lazy as possible in their practice. I went in because I have a persistently high heart rate. He wouldn't believe me. I wore a heart monitor for 14 days to show him exactly what I'm talking about. He didn't bother to look at my heart rate when he got the data back. I wasted time out of my work day, money out of my bank account, and effort on my part just to be ignored, dismissed, and patronized. Do yourself a favor and see literally anybody else.

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. After spending a significant amount of time and money on an echocardiogram and wearing a heart monitor for a week, I still left without answers. My cardiologist failed to consider or test for dysautonomia, which my primary care provider later identified, something a simple stress test could have helped detect. What made this even more frustrating was the poor communication between the doctor and his office staff; messages weren't relayed, and it felt impossible to get any clarity or continuity of care. Patients deserve transparency and thorough care, not dismissal.
