I cannot recommend this Dr. or this practice enough. From typical cardio to rare diseases, Dr. Adamson is knowledgable and able to help. Most of my conditions are managed by specialists but hospital stays always throw a wrench into the plans because a new Dr, unfamiliar with my case, has to take total control. Dr. Adamson consulted with me and my hospital attending to bring an end to almost a week in pcu and allow me to be discharged to his plan of care. The dedication to patients is unmatched!

**Poor Medical Staff**
I will start off by saying that I did not have the opportunity of being treated by Dr. Van Adamson. This was my experience with the medical staff.
My initial visit was set back in June. The office called me on 2 occasions, last week, to verify insurance information over the phone and I was assured that my insurance was accepted, even after clarifying that my insurance was under my maiden name. I was told everything had been cleared for my initial visit, 9/28 @ 7:30am. I even received text message reminders and a call the day prior. I show up at the office only to be told that this physician was not in network with my insurance. After explaining that it was all cleared through phone calls with the office staff, I was questioned about who I spoke with (of course I did not ask for a name, who needs to?) and was told they have no record of outcoming calls to my cell, with the exception of missed calls. I was completely confused and upset. After asking to speak to the doctor, I was able to provide him 2 incoming calls to my phone that he labeled as "missed calls", from his records. Although the doctor heard my complaint and was nice enough to call/text me, he continued to say there is no proof of any conversation between myself and his staff, and then continued to indicate I would not be treated because he does not accept my insurance. He did not take any accountability for his staff who called my phone.
This was one of the worst experiences, having to show up after being scheduled 2 months out and missing work, when all of this could have been avoided by having knowledgeable, diligent staff that are able to verify insurances correctly. The
doctor did mention he recently fired a front staff member and I wonder if that person was the culprit. Nonetheless, the receptionist this morning was not kind or helpful, yet dismissive and continued to argue that my insurance was never verified! This leaves me thinking, then how would I receive text messages/ calls, if insurance was never verified (according to them)? I truly hope Dr. Van Adamson finds better staff to run his office.

Dr Van Adamson is hands down the best Dr you will come across. I've had life long health problems that nobody could figure out or would just dismiss completely as "anxiety" or just my "fibromyalgia." The first time I came to see Dr Adamson I wasn't expecting much at all, in fact I was pissed that I was at another Dr who wasn't going to listen or help me. That's not at all what happened though, from the moment he walked into the room and made eye contact the entire time I knew something was definitely different... he was listening to me. I told him how I've been feeling , how I have these things wrong with me and that I've suffered a long time. When I was finished talking he told me he believed me. That may sound silly but those words "I believe you" to someone who is desperate and struggling with their health those are the only words you want and need to hear. He just gets it. He understands. He listens and he genuinely cares about all of his patients. He diagnosed me with Pots, Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos, and Hypotension. I feel so much better and I have hope now. I had almost given up on finding answers and living this life, I couldn't take anymore. Anytime I've ever been concerned about anything or needed the Drs help he has always gotten back to me asap. The office staff is also wonderful and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr Adamson and I'm fortunate to come across such a exceptional Dr.

Unfortunately my son was not able to be seen.I had made his appointment here back in June (4 months prior)just to be told the Day of his appointment that I would have to pay $600 to be seen due to not meeting my deductible... The Morning of!! So unprofessional. If I would have known way before this I would have looked somewhere else and probably would have already been seen by now!!
