Michelle Zikusoka, MD

I was referred to Dr. Michelle Zikusoka of Austin Heart - Cedar Park (1401 Medical Parkway, Building B, Suite #300) by my primary care provider, and I am so glad I was. My visit with her on November 7, 2025, was an absolutely wonderful experience. Dr. Zikusoka is the definition of professionalism and compassion. She was warm, attentive, and took the time to carefully listen to all my concerns. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood every aspect of my care. She never rushed me or dismissed any question -- instead, she showed genuine empathy and enthusiasm for her work and her patients. It's rare to find a physician who combines such expertise with such a caring heart. Her nurse also shares these same qualities -- together they make a dynamic duo dedicated to patient well-being. I left her office feeling deeply reassured and confident that I'm in excellent hands. Absolutely amazing experience and customer service! Dr. Z not only took the time to answer any questions and go over my labs, but she also gave in-site and comparisons plus homework for me to knock out in order to ensure any anxiety and fears were put to rest. You can tell that she takes her job seriously and has amazing communication skills. I'd recommend Dr. Zikusoka to any and all who are looking for a compassionate and well versed specialist in the heart medical industry.

I saw Dr. Zikusoka as new patient two days ago. My first impression of her as a new patient was of an easily approachable, confident and, knowledgeable doctor. So I felt at easy immediate with her. After her questions to understand my patient history on her field, she clearly explained to me how she is approaching my plan of care and order some tests to start that process. I was very pleased with her nurse assistant and especially Dr. Zikusoka and would recommend her to my friends and family.

If you need a caring cardiologist that doesn't rush you in and rush you out, you need Dr. Zikusoka! She has a wonderful bedside manner. She listens to all your questions or concerns and makes sure she addresses them before you leave. She is kind and wants only the best health for her patients. The office staff is on their toes and efficient in checking you in and out, all with smiles on their faces. This is an excellent office for your cardiology care.

Dr. Z is knowledgeable, personable, genuine, and on the ball. I came in to my appointment a little worried because my condition is a bit of an invisible illness that a lot of doctors or health professionals don't care about (or don't understand enough to care about it for their patients), so it was such a relief to have met Dr. Z. I left with a solid plan and a medication to try. I'm excited to see where this goes. It's refreshing to know there are good-hearted doctors out there.
