Dr. Venkatesan Vidi

Dr Vidi is very detailed and thorough in diagnosis; explained things in simple layman language; prescribed low dosage to see how my body reacts and gradually increased based on stats clearly visible to everyone. Overall, glad to have him as my cardiologist. Thanks Dr! He is open to take new patients without insurance (self-pay), which helped in my father-in-laws case (close to 80 years old) who was visiting us temporarily. He had an excellent experience with Dr. Vidi. One of the things he really appreciated was how considerate Dr. was about our financial situation. Dr. Vidi took the time to explain each test and procedure, and made sure I understood why they were or weren't necessary for my father-in-law's condition. He made us feel comfortable asking questions and never pressured us into tests he didn't need. We really valued their honesty and transparency in helping us make informed decisions without worrying about unnecessary expenses. It's rare to find a doctor who is both professional and mindful of the cost to patients. Highly recommend! His receptionist was prompt in scheduling/call backs when necessary. Thanks to the staffs at Alliance and Bedford location.

Great doctor, awful staff. They only offer one payment plan and unwilling to work with me. Unfortunately we do have a large bill due to a heart attack. I can make a decent monthly payment but if I didn't pay them $700 a month (not many people have an extra $700/month), then they wouldn't accept anything and said I cannot see the doctor again until it's paid and then she hung up on me.

Unfortunately, I am not happy with the doctor nor the staff. I went to this doctor because my primary physician recommended to see him. I went to the office immediately charged me $260.00. Nurse performed ekg and doctor came and stated that it looks fine however want to perform additional test. He stated we will put monitor for 72 hours and I wasn't told that by the staff, nurse or the doctor that the monitor will cost me good amount of money. I just got the bill in the mail to pay for the monitor which I am not happy to pay because I was not told. If I was informed by the doctor that I had to pay I wouldn't have asked him to put monitor on me and instead I would have asked him to do echo test. Also I had to call this office More than 4 times each week to get the results. It took them month to provide me results and he still wanted me to perform additional test and this complete ripoff. Never going back to this doctor again.

I'm leaving this review not because of the doctor but because of his office or whomever answers calls. I called to reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances in which I could not make it. Was told I would be charged a $50 no show fee. I said no, I do not agree with that. I am not a "no show" since I am rescheduling. She got really snooty with me and told me she would just bill my account. I said I wont pay it. First of all I'm calling in good faith and I'm trying to reschedule. She finally put me through to somebody else and they rescheduled my appointment. There is just no reason why this person should have been this rude and had such an attitude. I completely understand if I never called and just didnt show up. Then I would understand the fee. But I hired their services and I can fire them I find it deemable.

My follow-up doctor appointment was okay and after that they told me that they needed $245 up front that wasn't told to me yesterday and they did a INR and when I left out. I get home I get a phone call from my doctor saying that the receptionist said I was yelling at people which was a lie. Because I had no reason to be angry so with her saying that which was a lie definitely was wrong. She already had an attitude and I told her to smile, so it was the phone call that was for me. Of course he was going to believe them. I don't think I want to go back to that doctor. Especially if the receptionist is there. They going to lose a lot of patients with that receptionist that asked for the money. She need to find another job, or be put somewhere else. Smh. She act like that was her money that was owed to her. The way she was acting.
