Dr. Bransford is a gem. We brought my 91-year-old grandfather there, and he was so compassionate with helping us decide what procedures and tests were necessary. He treated my grandfather with utmost respect and managed to ease all of our hearts about the path moving forward. He is a kind, Christian man. If anyone in my family ever needs a cardiologist, this is where they will go. Also, the nurse and the nurse practitioner were fabulous as well. Shout out to Felicia in new-patient, too. She was so helpful in getting him in...allowing me to text questions always quick to call back.

I'm usually the guy that leaves bad reviews. But in this case I can't. I have needed a heart stent every year since covid regardless of everything ive done. I went to this clinic and they are the only ones that made sence. They said," you've been treated for heart problems when what you truly have is a vien/artery problem." It finally clicked as to why my past cardiologist couldn't figure me out. So I'm being treated accordingly, but I'm sure if I need a new stent in the future they'll be able to handle it just fine.

I went to SETX Cardiology for about a year, here are some of the highlights. Appointment cancelled because they scheduled me with the doctor when I should have been scheduled with NP. (Apparently I was only allowed to see the doctor so many times) Medical records/charts stored in open boxes in the public use restroom of the building used for diagnostic tests. The office management in general needs improvement. I saw Dr Bransford. He was very attentive and answered my questions. He performed a procedure but it did not work. Within a day I started getting massive headaches. I'd go to the ER and they would tell me to follow up with the cardiologist. I'd try to get an appointment and was told my headaches had nothing to do with my heart procedure. This went back and forth for about 10 days and then I had a stroke. When I discharged from the hospital I was told to follow up with the cardiologist. I was also told I had a pseudo-aneurysm from the procedure and to follow up with the cardiologist for that as well. I couldn't get an appointment for more than 2 weeks. When I went to the appointment Dr Bransford came to the room told me to keep taking my medicine and we'd follow up in 6 months. When I inquired about what may have caused my stroke he said he didn't know and I should just find another cardiologist. I really didn't understand and when I pressed for an explanation he got up and left the room. About a week later I get a certified letter saying he won't see me anymore due to a breakdown in patient/ doctor relationship. Just very poor communication in general and poor office management and if you voice your grievances about that I guess they just stop seeing you.

The staff is nice BUT I've been asked to reschedule on more than one occasion, which meant more hassle rearranging time off from work and trying to reschedule other Doctor appointments for the same day. VERY INCONVENIENT!!! When you call it's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone, it either rings and rings and rings, or/and then you have to leave a message for no call back or a call back days later. It took nearly half a dozen calls and a few weeks to get medications needed for an upcoming procedure.
