I truly loved this office. Even with being in pain, I was able to share a laugh with the staff. Many thanks to Dr. Nwaukwa, Resident A. Smith, Christie, Ashley, and April. You all set the standard very high for others to match. Everyone was so very helpful and nice. Dr. Nwaukwa made me feel comfortable to discuss my situation, was a great listener, and I feel diagnosed me appropriately. I was prescribed some medication and will return for an echo and stress test. Thanks Metropolitan Cardiology, you were the best. Praising God I was contacted of a cancellation and did not have to wait until 2/16. Blessings Dr. Nwaukwa and staff. Enjoy this New Year!

I enjoyed coming to see Dr.Nwauka. The whole staff is outstanding. I love coming to my visit. He explained everything to you. What procedure I'm getting done.I will recommend my family and friends. There like family to me. God bless you all awesome staff

Dr. Chima gets it. From his excellent treatment, investigative mind, and ability to connect with the patient, he is easily one of the best doctors in southeast Texas. He took the time to be sure I thoroughly understood my condition, put me at ease, and explain my treatment options. Additionally, his staff members from the front desk to his NP were all very knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist.

UPDATE: I have definitley been a patient of Dr. Nwaukwa and so was my father for him to deny he was our Cardiologist is appalling. I would NOT recommend this doctor. He was my fathers doctor is the reason I used him for my initial cardio check. I had a great check up passed all test and my labs were good. When I refused to take medication because my dad's history has been bad doesn't mean I will take after him, I may take after my mom. He literally wrote me a hand written letter saying if I wouldn't do what he said he wouldn't be my doctor. If I had actually had any issues or bad labs I would have, but I have no reason to take medication because my dad's history.. sad these kind of doctors treat people like this.

Dr. Nwaukwa is very attentive when speaking to his patient nice personality calm voice make you feel relaxed While talking with you don't rush you out his office I'm very satisfied on making the decision to make him my Cardiologist
