A friend recommended Dr Zagrodzky and boy was he right. He corrected my AFIB problems and got me away from the super expensive Eliquis. (As well as the constant bleeding from small scratches) . Eliquis may work well but thins the blood so much it causes a lot of bleeding issues. Doctor Z and his staff in Austin are great and he takes time to explain everything in detail.
Dr. Zagrodzky did a AFIB Flutter ablation on me. He and his staff are excellent, caring and most professional. Highly recommend
I saw this doctor's PA when I was in the hospital 5 mos ago. I was told that I needed to follow up with Dr. Z after my discharge. I did. I still only saw a PA. She wanted me to wear a heart monitor and I made a follow-up appointment. They never ordered the heart monitor so when it was time for my appointment they called to reschedule and supposedly order a heart monitor (again). I never received that one either and had to cancel the new follow-up appointment. Furthermore, it's almost impossible to get a hold of a real person on the phone. Obviously this doctor cared nothing about me as a patient.
He is an amazing surgeon. I was nervous and instantly felt a huge difference. I went to a lot of cardiologists and I am very lucky to have been recommended to this doctor.
I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Zagrodsky as my heart physician for approximately 6 years. During that time, he has installed a pace maker as well as conducted procedures to address my heart's arrhythmia. I have experienced his calm and caring bedside manner in addition to his clear and concise communications concerning my heart health. His office is staffed by tenured employees who are consistently polite, skilled, and efficient. His surgical nurse has provided superior follow up and consultation, and his medical assistant has always been very thorough and patient in responding to my numerous questions. I am able to recommend this practice without reservation.
