About Dr. Fotini Chalkias, MD
Dr Chalkias loves her patients and considers them family. Her love for medicine began when her father became ill. Dr Chalkias's goal is to treat each patient as if they were a part of her own family. She is married and has two daughters. Outside of the office, Dr Chalkias loves to read books and play tennis. She was a dedicated soccer mom, and roots for the Austin FC. Dr Chalkias has been selected as a 2023 Super Doc by Texas Monthly magazine. The honor recognizes providers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

She referred me to an interventional cardiologist at a BSW hospital in Round Rock to have a heart catheter operation and I had issues trying to schedule my initial appointment and followup. I reached out to the hospital, but they never followed up with me regarding the issues I had.
