Abysmally mis-managed office. Never got to meet a GP, in over two months, dealing with their incompetent staff. They canceled my appointment, 3-4 weeks after I called and informed them I was a 62 yr old male, well over a year over due for a physical- A few days before the scheduled appointment, I received a VM: "the doctor will not be in". they offered another multi- week wait, with the earliest date conflicting with a vacation. Past that, another 3 weeks. Finally he morning of my appt, I'm at the google maps address for the clinic. It's abandoned...they've moved. I call their ph#, and wait 25 minutes on hold, to be told they moved 2 weeks prior, and I could not be seen that day. They schedule me a 3rd time, then called ~ 3 hrs before the time: They needed to verify "what I'm coming in for, so the "provider"", who has been reduced now from a GP to an RN, can decide whether or not I qualify for the 3rd appt. (I informed them on 1st contact I was self pay, annual check up).Folks, if we keep accepting negligent health office practices like this practice does, our health will suffer. Demand better.

I've had two horrible experiences as an established patient. One I went in with a chronic dry cough I could not get rid of, the doctor gave me the run around and wanted to "wait it out" after it had already been six weeks. "Talked" them into a prescription on the second visit. Took three appointments to get a prescription that would work. Second it took me four weeks to get a separate unrelated prescription sent to a pharmacy and during that time I kept being told they were short staffed by desk personnel and never received a call back from my provider I saw.

★★★★★

Exceptional experience with Dr Gross Pierce and Lorena Jimenez. Dr. Gross Pierce has been my doctor since moving to Kingwood, and they have always been very thoughtful and thorough. They also do telehealth appointments! and I've been able to schedule appointments same day or within 1-2 days. couldn't ask for better.

After a year of trying to find a doctor that I felt actually cared and wanted to help i unfortunately didn't find that here. They make you feel like just a number on a file. Tried for over a week to get a referral for a cardiologist, rarely does someone actually answer the phone, usually you get the voicemail. After leaving multiple voicemails without getting a call back I'd say it's safe to say they're just taking on as many patients as they can.

Office staff and manager are rude and awful to not only myself but others I have witnessed. The entire staff should at the very least sent to sensitivity training. The manager should be fired. (Must be a related.) My wife after 3 yrs going there thought Dr. Pierce was a tall African American man. When I told her Pierce was a woman she realized in 3 years she had never met the actual person, just the P.A. Too bad because I found Dr. Pierce to be a very competent doctor but the office issues has made it impossible to use her.
